Mars Needs Women!
...and maybe we could use some, too? The rooster to hen ratio is looking kind of sucky at the moment. Can I lead off with a couple of nominations?

I agree!
Part of the problem is an artifact of my email contacts list...
Invites out shortly - assumeing that the Blogger upper limit is just a figment of my imagination....
How about The Last Amazon:

TheLastAmazon62@aol.com
And on the topic of Titles...
I personally like TANSTAAFL as a blog motto--or perhaps the title of the E-zine's blog? But not as the title of the whole thing. Something offbeat like "Billy" would be better, although as a contrarian I must add that "Billy" itself could probably be improved upon.
I think "A Smoke And A Drink" is on the right track, but you know it's going to mean our first MSM coverage (if we get any!) will be entirely devoted to their accusations that we must be funded by the tobacco industry, and then our bored responses that "no we're not" etc etc.
This deserves more thought than I can offer it at the moment.
Funding? Wat dat?
I'm liking Billy more and more - mostly for the anachronistic quality. Keep the graphics and type very modernist and non-rustic to stress that.
Billy is starting to grow on me as well. 'billy.ca' is taken. 'billymag.ca' is available, as is 'billy.com'.
Dammit, meant to say 'billymag.com'.
I'm liking "Billy" too...
Sigh. All right. "Billy".
Or how about "Vorpal Gun-Nut Smoking Billy!"
...er, no. Just "Billy" is better.
"Billy - homoerotic entertainment for homophobic men."
"Billy - homoerotic entertainment for homophobic men."
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I suppose northern blogworld stalwarts like Kathy Shaidle, smalldeadanimals, etc. have been contacted?
Yes.. definitely would be an advantage to have Shannon, Kate, and Kathy on board.
I'd also suggest Lisa from The London Fog as well. She's a woman with a bit of an edge.. that's very refreshing.
And while I think of it.. someone else that might be interested.. a hard core libertarian woman from Ontario, and a lawyer to boot that has great writing skills:
